This is the magnetic version of the 'boardgame' AXIOM (AX3), also known as AXIOM 3000. First produced in 2008 by an independent games maker in Brighton, UK.

A complete AXIOM set has 12 Cubes and 4 Sceptres. Each cube is 40mm in size and moulded in high quality polycarbonate, with a nickel/steel rivet in each recess that acts as a magnetic contact.

The Sceptre pieces have a small 'rare earth' magnet at one end and interlock with the Cube like a ball-and-socket. This holds the Septre horizontally to enable movement on the side of the game, tilting the Sceptre a few degrees will desengage it from the Cube.

Axiom is packaged in a portable, compact box 90 x 90 x 180mm, and comes with an illustrated booklet of rules & strategy tips.

Also included is a fold-up card mat (not shown in the photograph). Axiom can be setup on this mat to enable the game to be rotated. It is printed with a simple coordinate system, for game notation and remote play.
